Mrs. Langlois sustained very serious injuries in a winter crash. She suffered a below the knee amputation and serious injuries to her other foot. In this case Paul Buckland was seriously injured, both physical and emotionally when he was fishing with a young boy. A sea-doo struck his fishing boat and killed the boy. The impact also shattered Paul's knee. Nicole Gilmour suffered permanent and serious impairments as a result of a car crash on August 3, 2003. Nicole suffered a brain injury, skull fractures, along with other injuries in the accident. Following the accident, Nicole was also diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy, which is an inherited disorder causing weakness and muscle wasting.
