What
is Oatley, Vigmond's reputation for results in court?
Our reputation with insurance companies, lawyers and judges has
been built on many years of hard work, dedication to our clients’
rights and creativity. The Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association
established a lecture series in 1999 known as the "Roger Oatley
Lectures in Jury Advocacy" to recognize Roger Oatley’s
success with juries and his contribution to the teaching of jury
advocacy to trial lawyers. Innovative techniques developed by Roger,
Jim Vigmond and Dean Edgell are now used by successful advocates
throughout Canada. In the 12 month period ending in March 2000,
Roger Oatley and his team completed 5 major jury trials where the
jury awarded more than the defendant offered prior to the trial.
Such a record is unprecedented. Lawyers from around the province
refer difficult cases to Oatley, Vigmond in recognition of our ability
to get the best possible results for our client.
