    Katelyn Uveges

I appreciated the fact that everyone we dealt with was sympathetic and spoke in terms we could understand. They were great from the beginning - very friendly and personable.
I always felt as though they were willing to help. Even now that my case has been settled for about a year, I still feel as though they are there to help. I even got homework help. That’s above and beyond.
I would recommend them full heartedly. I would never want to be across the table from him but he is great to have on your side. It was the best experience it could have been all things considered.

In February 2003, Katelyn was 17 years old. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a close friend. Two of her other friends were in the car. A drunk driver crossed over the centre line. There was a violent head-on crash. Two of her friends were killed. Katelyn suffered significant injuries.

    Brett Miller

The decision to retain Oatley, Vigmond as our representatives following the car accident was the best thing we could have done. Brian Cameron always made himself available to our questions and concerns – we were able to trust him completely. He always put our needs and requirements first and his counsel was invaluable. The whole Oatley, Vigmond team were experienced and totally dedicated to the most positive outcome possible.
We would strongly recommend James Vigmond, Brian Cameron and Josie Skelly to anyone who has experienced a motor vehicle accident or any other personal injury.

Brett was a hardworking husband and father at the time of the crash. The defendant failed to stop for a tow truck which was removing a vehicle from a ditch and he slammed violently into the rear of Brett’s vehicle which was slowing to move around the tow truck. Brett suffered injury to his neck, shoulder and right arm as well as significant pain and restriction in motion. Brett suffered from depression and anxiety as a result of his injuries which precluded him from any form of gainful employment.

    Lauren Matheson

The legal services provided to me by Jim Vigmond and Brian Cameron of Oatley, Vigmond, were second to none. Their experience and expertise was evident as they were thorough, in-depth and left no stone unturned. They were always helpful, kept me well-informed and fought for me every step of the way. From the day Jim and Brian came to visit me in the hospital to the day my case settled, they were committed both to my case and to my well-being. They were caring, supportive and put my rehabilitation and recovery first and foremost. They always had my best interests at heart, and protecting/providing for my future was their main priority.
Jim and Brian went above and beyond my expectations! I couldn’t have been more delighted and satisfied with the result.
I would definitely recommend Oatley, Vigmond to any accident survivor. They are a law firm that truly cares for the well-being of their clients. They provide hope during the tumultuous time following the accident, and help make the unbearable situation bearable.
I had unwavering faith and confidence in this law team from day one, and they didn’t let me down.

Lauren was a student at York University at the time of the crash. Like her mother, she dreamed of being a teacher. On January 28, 2005 Lauren was driving her vehicle on an evening out with her boyfriend. The defendant had stopped his tractor trailer in front of his driveway. The trailer was completely blocking the road. Lauren had no time to react. She crashed into the side of the trailer at 70 kilometres per hour. Lauren suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury affecting her left arm. Thankfully, after a long period of rehabilitation, Lauren ultimately returned to school and was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher.
