    Ray Lahay suffered from chronic low back pain after being injured in a car crash in 1998. He was able to work for several years after the crash but ultimately succumbed to the pain. He quit his job 3 weeks before the start of trial. He rejected the defendant's offer to settle of $10,000. The judge agreed with Ray's lawyers that the injury was serious and awarded Ray $400,000 in damages.

    George Moore is a sixty nine year old gentleman who received significant injuries in a head-on car crash in 2005.  His injuries included a fractured sternum, multiple fractured ribs on his left side and severe fractures to both his feet.  He continues to suffer from ongoing pain and a significant loss of function in both his feet.  George Moore has not yet been able to return to the full time employment he was working at the time of the crash.  The jury agreed that George’s injuries were serious and awarded him $250,000.00 in damages.
