In a unanimous judgment, the Court reversed the trial judge and held that the SABS permit combining physical and psychological impairments in assessing 55% Whole Person Impairment under para 2(f) of the SABS. The decision will affect thousands of people who have suffered physical and psychological injuries in car crashes.
