The Application Process
| 1 | Choose your personal injury lawyer |
Comply with insurer's requirements for examination under oath if required. A personal injury lawyer is absolutely essential at this stage to protect your interests. |
| 2 | Notify your insurer | With few exceptions, this must be done within seven days of the accident. Oatley, Vigmond's Accident Benefits Coordinator will notify your insurer for you. |
| 3 | Receive package | Oatley, Vigmond will provide you with an Accident Benefits Application Package. |
| 4 | Complete application | Complete the application for accident benefits within thirty days after receipt. At Oatley, Vigmond, our Accident Benefits Coordinators are happy to assist with this complex paperwork. |
| 5 | Await confirmation | Await confirmation of application completion. If application is incomplete, insurer must notify you within fourteen days. Oatley, Vigmond will act on your behalf should issues arise with your insurer. |
