William J. Teggart
Bill Teggart is dedicated to representing people who have suffered serious injuries. Throughout his career he has represented adults and children who have suffered brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and orthopaedic injuries. Through mediation and trial, he has helped hundreds of injured people and their families recover the money they need to replace lost income and fund their accident-related healthcare expenses.
Bill has lectured to lawyers and health care providers throughout Canada and the United States. He has been an invited presenter at conferences offered by the American Association of Justice, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocate's Society, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Law Society of Upper Canada. He has served as co-chair to several conferences offered by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Bill has also written extensively. He is a contributing author to the Guide to Personal Injury Practice in Motor Vehicle Cases. He is co-editor of the Legal and Insurance Manual for health care providers. Many of his articles have been used to help other lawyers through continuing legal education programs.
Bill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from American International College in Massachusetts where he attended on a four year hockey scholarship. In his senior year, he was awarded the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Merit medal for combined scholastic and athletic achievement. Thereafter, he attended the University of Windsor Law School.
