Meredith Harper
Meredith is a dedicated member of Roger Oatley's team, helping individuals and family members of those who have been seriously injured or killed. Meredith's focus lies exclusively in personal injury law: accident benefits, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, occupiers' liability and product liability cases.
Meredith articled with Oatley, Vigmond and became an associate upon her call to the Ontario Bar in 2011. Meredith received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Dalhousie University in 2007, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 2010.
In law school, Meredith volunteered and worked at the Faculty of Law's legal aid clinic assisting on numerous Immigration, Landlord and Tenant, Disability and Small Claims matters. She avidly participated in competitive mooting and co-authored a paper in tort and contract law: "Rewarding Trespass & Other Enigmas: The Strange World of Self-Exclusion & Casino Liability", jointly authored with Emir Aly Crowne-Mohammed, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Gaming Law Journal, Vol. 1, No. 1, Spring 2010.
Meredith is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Advocates' Society.
