Gayle T. Brock

Gayle joined Oatley, Vigmond in 1996. She concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation and, in particular, serious personal injury and medical malpractice claims.  She received her Honours B.A. from York University in 1988, and her LL.B. from The University of Western Ontario in 1992 where she was awarded the Cassels, Brock & Blackwell Centennial Prize in Practice Skills.

Ian is dedicated to helping clients obtain fair compensation for their injuries. After completing a Master's degree in philosophy at the University of Toronto Ian obtained his LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School. As a law student Ian worked in the Worker's Rights Group at Parkdale Community Legal Services.

James L. Vigmond

Jim was called to the Bar in 1983. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (1978) and Queen's University Law School (1981). His practice is restricted to serious personal injury, wrongful death, disability and medical malpractice cases. He has been certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in civil litigation.

Jim is an instructor at Queen’s University Law School where he teaches Personal Injury Advocacy.

Jim was voted by his peers to be among The Best Lawyers in Canada for 2008 and 2009.

Brian M. Cameron

Brian joined Oatley, Vigmond in 1999 and became a partner in 2008. He represents people who have sustained serious injuries and the families of those who have died. His practice focuses on resolving claims arising out of motor vehicle collisions, boating injuries, occupiers' liability claims and products liability issues. Brian was named "Outstanding Young Lawyer" by his peers in the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association in May of 2008.

Robert M. Durante

Robert joined Oatley, Vigmond in 1997 and he became a partner in 2008. He restricts his practice to plaintiff personal injury matters including serious personal injury and death claims as well as accident benefits, disability and product liability claims. Robert has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
